Focus: Community Service and Volunteerism

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD RULES
Awarded to female graduating seniors, residing in Chino Hills, California for their use as full-time students at any accredited public or private college, university or trade school.
Scholarship recipients must start attendance in the Fall 2018 and show proof of enrollment. Awards will be paid directly to the school. While academics is important, the focus will be on community service/volunteerism.
Each entry must:
· Submit the completed application, including two recommendations – one from the school and one personal or from the community.
· Minimum 2.2 non-weighted GPA

Entries must be delivered by April 06, 2018
Entries are the property of the Soroptimist International of Chino Hills/Inland Empire and may be printed and published in full or in part at the discretion of the organization.
Applications will be evaluated by a panel of judges. Semi-finalists may be required to attend an interview with the Scholarship Committee. Awardees will be selected by the Scholarship Committee in May 2018 and will be notified of their selection. The decision of the judges is final.
